We are Francesco and Denis and we welcome you to our farmhouse.
After numerous trips around the world we decided to set up in an ancient farmhouse at Polignano a Mare because it embodies the authentic fascination of Apulia, made of slowness, quiet sounds and a miscellany of rare perfumes.
We want to share all this with those who seek relaxation far away from the frenetic life of the city and, like us, knows how to capture the beauty and take shelter in it.

THE FARMHOUSE

Agapanto is an ancient 19th century farmhouse which, after careful renovation, was transformed into luxurious accommodation.
The iridescent white of the farmhouse is set against the sky’s magnificent blue which creates a contrast that is impossible not to love.
The structure, in white stone, hosts luxury suites that are rich with comforts.
Here time expands: the botanic garden, the cherry orchard: infinite spaces of beauty for idling away and to experience the authentic Apulia.

Two ample and brightly lit double suites equipped with every comfort, each with a king size bed and a big Devon&Devon stone bath. The private patio has a table, chairs and sun beds that ensure relaxation and privacy for guests as they enjoy the wonderful view of the cherry orchard.

The old keeper’s house was completely renovated and transformed into a wonderful guest house with an ample kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a 100 sq. m. veranda with table, chairs and sun beds within the structure’s lush vegetation.

Agapanto Masseria seeks the delicious flavours of Apulia’s traditions and the flavours of times gone by, such as sharing culinary pleasures that offer our guests an emotional cooking experience that will be hard to forget.
The tasting rooms have been set up in the old stable and sitting room of the farmhouse, which has an impressive fireplace that draws the eyes of guests.
In the splendid breakfast room overlooking our thriving countryside good morning will be the most delicious you ever had. We will offer you products of the highest quality made by us: cheeses, jams, fresh fruit and a wide selection of breads and pastries.

EXPERIENCE

Our farmhouse is set in the serenity and beauty of Polignano a Mare’s countryside and only a few kilometres from Apulia’s most important tourist destinations: Grotte di Castellana, Trulli di Alberobello, Castello di Conversano and Valle d’Itria.
Here it is possible to harvest the territory’s fruit and vegetables, make jams, preserves and wild herb teas. You will be able to discover the ancient mysteries of cheese makers, of the ladies who prepare the fresh pasta, and enjoy a typically Apulian experience far from the chaos of the city.
Behind the farmhouse there is a beautiful glasshouse, completely surrounded by a garden of Apulia’s typical fruit trees and plants. You can relax in front of the cherries that you can pick and eat in springtime.
Follow the path that will take you to a stone sink used for irrigation, wash the fruit from our garden and taste the authentic km 0 flavours.
